No surprise at all.

MMOs, not even once.

Bungie is fucking dead.

Kek. This game is wack though, don't buy it poorfags.

I'll bet the can't even afford premium shit. What a bunch of losers.

I'd love to enter GameStop one day and not hear one of the idiot employees bragging about having 200 hours in this fucking trash.

>>

Grinding doesn't count as playing the game though.
>>
don't see a problem with this.

it's barely an hour at work to earn this. So let's say you have warlock but want a hunter, you can skip the the stuff you've already done in the game and start where you want.

is everyone on /v/ on welfare or some shit, since every time that something cost money in this hobby there's a bunch of whiners.
>>

You're not including the DLC.

You might be a legit retard

I'm not the one playing MMOs and convincing myself repeating content IS content.

Yeah, I don't get GS employees either.

>for the small price of $30
This is literally priced higher than the first two DLCs, and they were considered ripoffs
>>
Is destiny the shittiest game of our time?
>>
Destiny is complete shit anyway. Nothing says fun like seeing the same shit over and over, doing the same missions... It lacks consistent story. And if you want more content, just buy DLCs. Why the fuck do you pay for half a game anyway?
>>
>>320249780
To be fair, the movement tech does look interesting. Too bad it's still COD under that though.

>>320249891
Sure sounds like the most overrated of the decade.

You're right. It's at least 3/4 the price.
>>
>>320249462
>playing the devil's advocate
No, because that's $25 that could have gone towards stuffing my face with a fresh pair of striped panties or several pounds of Funions. If the first 25 levels are such a chore that people would pay to skip them, then it should be an in-game option to skip them. Otherwise, you're paying premium to cut your own enjoyment.
>>
>>320249820
what's your point? If people have 30 bucks to spend, let them spend it however they want. For a lot of people, 30 bucks is barely an hour at work. To spend those 30 to skip 12 hours of doing something you've already done once is a great investment for many.

something /v/ needs to understand: you guys don't matter to the gaming industry anymore because you don't want to spend money on anything.
>>

I never understood this
>>
>>320249402

Why do I even bother
>>
>>320250087
Exactly
Destiny 2 should be priced at $255 with the base edition, let people spend their money any way they want
>>
>>320250087
They should give us a way to skip those levels for free. You know, like games used to do before.
>>
>>320250140
Good question. I don't know what motivates you people to keep playing online games without content.
>>
>>320249939
It's a shitty, somehow worse, less colorful, less imaginative, bland knockoff of Borderlands. I've yet to run into anyone who can explain why they like it. Borderlands at least had some redeeming factors but somehow a shittier-in-every-way version comes out and its drones are almost as defensive as TOR's launch community.
>>
>>320250228
price for any modern game should have gone up from $60 years ago, but since there's people like you around (children?), they have stayed put and instead we have 10x DLCs for every new game coming out.

surprise surprise, if it cost 50 million to make a game, earning 20 from sales is putting yourself out of business.
>>
>>320249246
>tfw my friend has 800+ hours in this game and I still can't drag him away from it long enough for him to actually play something with me
>>
>>320250558
Yeah they sure aren't making any money from those millions of sales, it makes you wonder why they keep making these games...
>>
>>320250380

Better gunplay, better art design, no shit humor, no Anthony Birch, has PVP.

There's a simple list.
>>

>price for any modern game should have gone up from $60 years ago, but since there's people like you around (children?), they have stayed put and instead we have 10x DLCs for every new game coming out.
Prices will go up to $80 or $100, and we'll still get DLC 4 times a year.
>>
>>320250558
Companies will charge what they think they can get away with. It's not some static line that moves in tandem with inflation.

If you're a fucking retard. It takes like 3 or 4 hours after your first character, and buying TTK GIVES you one of these boosts for free anyway, making them pointless for.m new and old players alike.
>>
guys don't even bother replying to me: >>320250558

I genuinely do not give a shit what any of you has to say about this. like I mentioned earlier, you do not matter to the industry and the only place your voice is being heard and read is here on 4chan. keep on posting epic memes and quote articles you disagree with, because talking economics is ten miles above you.

to be honest family, leveling up is a dated mechanic that needs to be removed from MMOs
>>

>only the endgame matters in a MMO
Just get chemo and die, "gamer".
>>
>>320250751
>gunplay
Ehhh, that's super debatable. I enjoyed the elements and properties of BL's guns. Made painting enemies with numbers pretty rewarding when you saw your gun choice and perks paying off by downing tough enemies quick.
>art design
I found Destiny uninspired as fuck, personally.
>no shit humor
A fair point but Destiny more than loses this lead with its tired and generic dialogue. I played and watched something like 60 hours of Destiny and all I could get from it was "the dark, the bad guys, evil shadoooooeeeeewzz, those things are bad" "we're the light side, we're good lol" "he.. is a killer... and he... is very good... at what he does".
>birch
I got nothin'
>pvp
That's nice but it's also because your characters are so tame and lame that PVP is an easy choice. BL can't have PVP because it would just be a "who is more broken" contest.
>>
>>320251441
