Played the alpha. It's honestly not very good. Graphics are a HUGE downgrade. I mean it's Ubisoft so it's expected, but it looks absolutely fucking nothing like the E3 trailer. 95% of buildings are just glorified texture rocks with no exploration. All enemies are bullet sponges, you have to mag dump into some thug running at you with a baseball bat. Headshots do nothing. The PvP mode was alright, kinda interesting but honestly just a shitfest.
So much wasted potential.

Ehhh, Destiny's decent. Much better PvP then PvE, but Taken King was much closer to what people wanted then the base game. TTK had sprawling levels, a half decent story, and interesting gimmicks. It felt more like a Halo game then the rest of Destiny, which felt like "go here, kill waves, YOU DID IT MORE WAVES"I bought it for like 30 bucks during Black Friday with all the DLC.
I hate when games have enemies do a stupid looking animation that loops really fast while you're shooting them. It looks awful and lazy to me. The last time I remember seeing that is in Resident Evil 5 if you used a machine gun and it bothered me there too.

It's got some MMO elements for sure like skillz and shit, so there appears to be some depth. But the core gameplay was kind of ass. Cover system needs work and just the general PvE aspect is dogshit. Destiny plays way better and I fucking hate that shitfest for wasted 1200 hours of my life. Yes you can create a character.

Fucking this. I was hoping for a more tactical vibe, and low ammo counts, low health type of thing. But no, you are a walking armory and basic thugs take an entire Mp-5 mag to drop. It's so disappointing after seeing the demo a long time ago.

Gonna give a controversial opinion here and say I actually still have faith and am looking forward to seeing more reviews and gameplay closer to the release.
I played this at Gamescom earlier this year with 2 other friends and I'll admit it was the highlight of Gamescom for me. I expected it to be a fucking trainwreck like most Ubisoft games but we actually really enjoyed the PvP/Co-op in the dark zone. Everyone went rogue except us and a few others and we sat around the extraction point defending from all sides. Each character had their own role and they fit together perfectly, so teamwork is pretty important.
I can't say much about graphics since we weren't playing on PC but gameplay wise it was really fun with friends.
I'm playing it and it's really fun.

I actually liked the alpha. The problem with these leaks is that they dont party up in pvp. This entire game is built around squads and pvp and all the neat mechanics in the darkzone.
Its like playing and showing off world of earcraft by yourself and only doing low level side quests.
