I have an itch to play a Star Wars game
Can anyone recommend a good star wars game (that i can get on steam)?
I've been playing Lego Clone Wars and really enjoying it, aside from a few levels.

There is this Star Wars rts I've been meaning to try.
Force Unleashed is pretty fun although the plot is a little controversial among fans.
Battlefront 1 + 2 are fun even on just single player.
Apparently FU2 is really fun but has a really shitty story.
I only know for sure that the first one is on steam.

Dark Forces is a Doom clone, which might be a good or bad thing for you, but i got a nostalgia boner for that game.
Lego Star Wars Complete Saga is fun, like you'd expect from a Lego game.
Play Jedi Outcast though.
Galactic Battlegrounds is quite fun.

SWTOR can be enjoyable if you want more Star Wars, but have played everything there is already.
Just have todeal with a lot of pointless running/driving around, even after they've streamlined the leveling.
It's enjoyable, but easily on the bottom of the recommended Star Wars games list.

If you are still here OP, GOG has a few Star Wars games that are not on Steam.
Gog versions of older games, especially those games in running in Dosbox, also have a tendency to run way better.

Empire at War Gold? It's OK but after finishing it I didn't feel like playing it ever again. I only lost a battle once in that game and it was before I realized that to win all I had to do was to have a huge army and fleet.

Well, there's quite a lot to pick from, and much of it is going to come down to your personal tastes.
There's the Knights of the Old Republic duology if you like RPGs (in particular, D&D 3rd edition). The Old Republic is generally considered "okay" if you like MMOs, but you can't find it on Steam.
The Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series if you like classic FPS games like Doom (although transitions to a Jedi-focused series in the second game).
If you like more modern, Battlefield-styled FPS games and want one with a Star Wars twist, try out Battlefront II. Avoid EA's new Battlefront like the plague. It's pretty as fuck, but that's about all it has going for it.
If you want a modern-style FPS with squad-based tactics and a campaign as the main feature, check out Republic Commando. It's one of the hidden gems of the prequel era.
Empire at War is good but not great if you like RTS games.
The Lego Star Wars games are surprisingly fun. If you're stuck babysitting, they're a damn good choice, as far as family-friendly games go.
If you like flight simulators, check out the X-Wing/TIE Fighter series. Fair warning, though: you fucking need a flightstick. I made the mistake of buying them without one, only to find two of the games wouldn't run without it, and the other two were crap to control with a mouse.
