/v/ I am seriously thinking of selling my wiiU. I bought it last year straight after Zelda U was announced but now the wiiU's situation now looks grimmer and grimmer as days go on.
I thoroughly enjoyed WWhd but not much else and now it seems Zelda U will be multiplat. I did enjoy DK, I hated 3D world and Yoshi. I am on the fence about X and Bayo but what I really want is nice comfy open world exploration games like wwHD and that's the only one the wiiU seems to have.
I want to sell it before the NX comes out so I can actually make some money back, should I sell it?

the wii u have better games because the developers understand and ACCEPT the limitations. that's why you can play xenoblade x with perfect framerate and no loading, and that's also why fallout 4 on the other two are 15-25 fps with 30 seconds loading into every single house on the map.

All I was saying is that its not impressive for the game to run at 30 with such low graphical fidelity and technical detail. The patches may be optional but they're needed simply speaks. have you played any of the current gen multiplats like witcher? mgsv? even bloodborne or the ffxv demo?
After you play those the deficiencies in X are quite hard to ignore. I don't even have a bias, I like the xeno series from front to back, it's just pretty clear to me the game isn't up to scratch and it's largely due to being run on last gens hardware.
That's just me though, I notice it throughout the game, everything from character models to individual graphical assets, it dose affect my immersion to my disadvantage.

I've played bloodborne and while it looks gorgeous, I had serious issues with the framerate and loading, especially during co-op. I do not think I am exaggerating when I say that my fps was probably never above 20 in the forbidden woods when I played with a friend. When I played alone during Yahar'gul I had the same problem, fps dips making the gameplay feel really bad.
I prefer stable framerate and good gameplay over anything else when I'm playing.

Blodborne has noticeable fps drops and the game could be optimized a little better but its ultimately to be expected considering the amount of detail it's pushing in each frame.
For me it's funnily enough it's the opposite, frame rate I can take on the chin but graphics needs to be strong. I noticed considerable fps drops when entering old yarnham for the first time but apart from that the game has been otherwise playable for me.
