If you were given the chance to bring back one dead game series what would it be?
NMH3 is my number one choice, no contest. I just went through the first two games and I fell in love with them too hard for it to be left dead just because of lack of marketing.

NMH isn't even really a dead franchise. It was never going to be a hugely popular thing and it's amazing that we even got a second game. It's also only been five years since NMH2 and Suda has said that he'd like to return to it one day, so we'll probably get one more final game to 'conclude' it in a way, then it'll be over and done with.
The real answer, for me anyway, is F-Zero. There's no reason why we can't get a new one, in this generation of HD consoles. MK8 made me realize, even more so than I already did, that a new one would be amazing.

The biggest attraction to the series was the boss fights (plus the humor and gameplay) so I don't knock the games for having generic enemies as the bosses were obviously where all the thought was put into, but more unique enemies would be a nice inclusion maybe stronger "Assassins in training" mini boss type characters.
My main complaint of the series was the unpredictable camera.

It could've been bigger if it had decent marketing, I got my Wii when the first NMH came out and it was a game I knew I would like by looking at it but the problem is that their was no commercials or adverts, none I saw anyways.
I do hope Suda comes through, preferably on a a Nintendo console again, NMH fits oddly well with Nintendo.
F-Zero would be noice, especially with some new quirky characters and a decently large roster as well.
DMC and F-Zero is all I want to be brought back, and there's at least hope for the former, the latter is whenever Nintendo thinks the series will sell so it could be decades.

nmh is one of myfavourite games of all time.
It's the last game I legitimately fell in love with, nmh 2 extended the feeling. I loved the game so much the first time I played it. I doubt it. Even if I don't like the way, say, Nintendo never markets their shit, I don't think NMH would've ever broken more than a million. Remember, it was on the Nintendo Wii. It's way too niche because of what it is, and it's one of my favorite games of all time.

Capcoms mismanagement of it is what makes me call it dead. All I want is for Itsuno to keep making them, but who knows. There was recently a panel with the VAs of Dante, Nero and Vergil and Langdon(the voice of Dante) said that he heard from someone who heard from someone who works in Capcom that Itsuno is tossing around ideas for another real DMC title.

I get that Itsuno and the DMC team wanted to make Dragon's Dogma, and I get that it ended up successful, but for fuck's sakes, it's one of their biggest franchises and the 'face' of character action games. I'd love a sequel to Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, one of my favorite games from last gen and I'm actually replaying it right now. I know it's generic as fuck but for me it's like the perfect game. Huge as fuck RPG world with solid action combat, it's like it was tailor-made for me.
As a second choice I'd like to see a new Metal Arms: Glitch in the System, stupidly fun 7th gen 3rd person shootan. The local multiplayer was elder god tier.

Blinx franchise, even if it's only on Xbone. It was so charmingly weird. It's a shame because the second was hilariously fun and felt like it was coming into it's own as a game series, with different factions, customization, etc... Not to say the first wasn't great, the second just felt like a much more well-rounded game.
