it's nothing like the anime
If you look at gameplay videos you could not tell it was a Ghost in the Shell product. It looks just like a generic, dated shooter.
buy it, play for an hour, refund it if you don't like it.

Its an okay twitch shooter, but its far from the best. There's just enough Ghost in the Shell to be neat but not enough to be really fanservice so take that as you will I guess?
The Major is the most garbage character because her stealth is almost entirely pointless.
Also its driving me crazy now knowing what the locked laughing man character is.
It isn't going to be the anime at all or any Gits material. You don't even fight the same antagonists you see in the manga or anime.

Both the movies and the anime improve upon the manga. Specially if you consider Man-Machine Interface, Shirow was totally out of his mind by then.
I like pretty much every piece of Gits material except that shitty Innocence light novel. I even got my mom to read the sac light novels, she liked them.
