>>320155103

About 550~650 will get you a pretty good performing PC.

>>320155283
He said good performing, not wanting to run on medium settings in fear of FPS drops.
OP here, what do you think i could do with 800€?
>>320155680
you could easily future proof with that
>>320155680
i don't know if it's better to have a decent one with 800€ or wait untill i have more money and make a pretty good pc for gaming

what do you think about this build?
>>320155893
Ayy those delicious AMD second hand cards
I remember I got some prett nice hashrates out of my 6 7950s too, and then sold 5 of them to unsuspecting people with barely a loss even though they've been running 100% load for 5 months.
The only reason I didn't sell the 6th one is because a memory chip literally burned up on it
warrantied it, sold the shit I got and bought nvidia.
>>320154942
Don't ever go lower than this
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3L2YvK
This is the absolute minimum anyone should go for if they want to have a decent experience.
Ideally, the budget should be bumped to 500+ dollars so you could have a solid foundation with an i5 and then upgrade the GPU later when the new ones come out because they are going to be a BIG performance jump due to the die shrink. A 270x will hold you up until then aplenty.
And don't believe people like >>320155103 trying to sell you this idea that you're gonna be able to build a pc with the same price of a console and have a good time, because you won't, specially in this day and age where games are coming out unoptimized more often than not.
PC gaming is an enthusiast thing that will introduce a series of problems you won't find on console, but compensate for it by providing much better performance, way more user freedom as well as generally cheaper games at the price of having way less high profile exclusives and introducing the need of user tweaking at times.
People trying to sell you into these "potato masher" garbage pcs are tryhards who don't know what the fuck they are doing. Don't trust them thinking you'll have a quality time because you won't, it's just r/pcmasterrace bullshit propaganda.

>implying
>>320160251
>>>320155893
>>320160551
Nothing implied, I'm outright saying buying used 7970s means you are buying coinmining hardware.
>>320160551
Oh yeah, because building EOL gpus that worked at 100% load for months on end sure is a nice investment of your money.
Also if you are gonna buy that shitty PC you could build it yourself for WAY cheaper, starting with the ditching of that completely fucking retarded PSU.
There isn't a SINGLE thing in that entire build that isn't overpriced.
This is the shittiest advice I have seen in a while.
>>320154942
Imagine if you had to move, that would be such a bitch to disassemble and pack up.
>>320160814
>>320160841
The 280x is basically the same price, as is a bunch of other cards
Not including price of building desk, mouse mat and such.
>>320162405
>those headphones and speakers/amps
Seems unnecessary unless you have a home studio or mix/compose music on your free time.
>>320162585
The audio quality is well worth it

>>320162405
>All that audio stuff
>No dedicated sound card
$240 for the tower off of craigslist, $40 for 8GB more ram, $135 for the GTX 950. Carried over the SSD from my old computer.
If you're on a budget, you just have to be smart and find deals.
>>320163448
This. You don't have to be a producer to enjoy good, accurate sound.
>>320164198
Well if you want high sound quality, you should've got open ear headphones. Closed ear studio headphones are good for isolating individual parts for mixing but the sound quality suffers for it. Just sayin'.
>>320163728
You don't need a dedicated sound card if you have an amp or audio interface. Amps essentially act as external sound cards.
Can get like a 6600k, 970/390, 16gb DDR4, decent mobo, decent psu, decent water cooler, 256ssd and 2tb data, win7/10 oem and a basic dvd drive for installing it for around 1000-1200 usd depending on brands.
Be a decent enough build.
Could also pay the same for a pre-built, but then you'd have a shit mobo, ram, psu, cooling system and prob only a single drive.
