Adding content and tweaking gameplay. The base game had these stupid pauses after dash attacks and dashes that ruined the flow of combat. Then they fixed it and even changed some character's dash attacks like Ikaruga for instance now does a rapid slash. Basically the Japs beta tested the game for the west

There's a shit ton of options. From regular cloth changes and groping features to a full blown diorama mode where you can place them in either the battle arenas or infront of scenery. They have like 30 poses you can use to place them however you want.

like yeah sure its awesome for the game because all the free content and support but most companies get ready for the next game.

It's not really that much. I counted the puru puru finishers and there's 49 if you exclude the special stage 5 man finishers from the multiplayer. There was still always a reason to turn the game back on once they updated it because they hid new ones in already existing stages and such.
