PS4 IS WINNING AGAIN BRAH

LOOK AT THESE HOLIDAY EXCLUSIVES

THIS ISN'T EVEN MENTIONING UNCHARTED COLLECTION
>>
>>320140246
mfw 9/11 was a sacrifice to allow this miracle to happen
>>
I would flip my shit for Jak and Daxter
>>
Only if the time and money needed to develop a game returns to that of the PS1 and PS2 eras.
>>
>>320142454
This. Games are much more expensive and time consuming to make now than they were back then. You could pop out a game in less than a year.

Unless we find a way to go back to that turnout rate with current graphics or we go back to basically HD PS2 graphics, then that isn't happening.
>>
>>320142454
seriously how does a company make a game look WORSE in HD? SH2 was practically flawless, I would say it and SH3 easily hold up today in their original forms
>>
I remember seeing a version of this for the PS4's 2014 holiday lineup and it was literally just driveclub

>>
>>320144507
all the talent left, and they hire hacks.
>>
>>320140246
what's incredible is the variety of genres. you have DMC1 next to FFX, Ico next to GTA3, there's something in that list for pretty much everyone.
>>
>>320140246
No
MGS is dead
Silent Hill is dead
Jak and Dexter is dead
Gran Turismo is kinda dead
Final Fantasy is a zombie
Grand Theft Auto is still alive
dont know about the rest
>>
>>320140246
Is this just emulation?
>>
>>320144507
Konami lost the original source code, so the guys responsible for the remake had to create the game almost from the ground up.
>>
>>320140246
GTA3 and SH2 are the only good games on that list desu senpai.
>>
No. graphicsfags literally killed videogames
>>
>>320140246
most of those games were meme games anyway
>>
>>320145849
no, what happened was konami lost the retail version source code, and all they could dig up was unfinished betas. basically "the final game but without a shitload of bugfixes they did before releasing it"

The game was like 75% there, the other quarter was the bugtesting the original devs did, which wasn't applied to the version they had "on file"
>>
>>320141121
I'm not sure if you're serious or not.
Either way you're a massive faggot.
>>
>>320145936

You have terrible taste and you should feel bad.
>>

Ace Combat recently rose from the grave
Ico somewhat lives on with The Last Guardian
Baldurs Gate is long dead

>Dark Alliance was my first PS2 game
>Suddenly remember all the fun I had playing sorceress nude play through
>Want to dig out the game and play again

It was the only game I owned for about 6 months. The only other "discs" I had for it were Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Kung-Pow.

>>
>>320146101
But what about the OST?
>>
>>320146101
Ok, I remembered that wrong, but it was still mostly Konami's fault.

Also anyone knows how was the PC port of SH2?
