Literally worse than that, because his videos are shorter. But he puts out better content, even if his Megaman 7 run was a bit eh.
The thing he does is, he plays stages over and over again until he pulls off every interesting trick on it that he can think, then takes that recording and then narrates over it. His writing is pretty clever and full of subtle jokes that interact with what is happening on screen. Heavy on puns sometimes, but self-aware of that fact.
