Not gonna lie, I think it sounds like a cool idea the way it's presented. The disappointing thing is the lack of buttons. However, I fully expected Nintendo's next handheld to have a touchscreen, 3D, and somehow implement dual screens. They'd be shooting themselves in the foot in terms of backwards compatibility otherwise.

The NX will be a line that replaces both the 3DS and the Wii U. Not with the same device but with two separate devices that share a common library. The console/handheld dichotomy is gone. From now on you'll be able to buy whichever you want and have access to the same games
