I played it because it was more Asami Imai.
I still like the first one the most out of the 3 though. The flashlight stuff in CP was cool, but if they had to go to the whole new engine and fuck up the loading times and all that to do so, I wonder if it was even worth it.

It was OK. Too much focus on occult, too little focus on spooky. Without all the other kids and the blue spirits, the school felt extremely empty. Being chased was silly. You could just walk slowly until the red masks started their attack animation then sprint away. Having most of the bad ends not have voices was a shitty decision. Load times are retardedly long. It was worth the play as a fan, but it wasn't amazing. Ayumi finally acknowledging Yoshiki was the highlight of the game for me.

You have to play the first game to understand this one. You will be so fucking lost if you don't. I imagine it emulates well on the PPSSPP emulator, since it's so low tech. You can also wait for the PC version that should be coming out soon, but the voices are WAY better on the PSP version of the game.
