It's another version of the same game Splash Damage has been making and remaking since 2003. I don't mind, Enemy Territory is great.
Would be great if it ran better on my old piece of shit PC though.
SD are killing it themselves with the lack of maps, and what maps there are range from awful to decent. I understand that with the F2P model they have that having a server whitelist system would be a lot of work since they couldn't automate it, but they could at least allow mappers to submit maps to them for review, and then they could include them in updates.
The core game is just modern ET, and I love it.

I had a lot of fun playing it months ago but hackers were a thing, the game stuttered and lag for me despite having good ping and its a heavy team based game. This is a problem because most people never cared about objectives and it makes me angry.
