Anyway, I hated KZ SF to the point where I snapped the disc, and I sold MON HUN 3U because I hated the gameplay, so I'm kind of cautious when it comes to Horizon. The gameplay looks like the game I hated on wiiu, while being made by the people who's game I broke on ps4.

Dying Light is basically just a next gen Dead Island with a more open world and refined mechanics. They're basically the same game, DL is just more polished.
This is the first time I actually watched the full video. Looks like an open world mashup between Bioshock 2 and Freedom Wars. It looks like they're putting a lot of love into the game, and I can respect that. The only thing I didn't like were the instant use consumables, which is a waste in a prehistoric setting with crafting gameplay. I want to pick poisonous berries and make all kinds of crazy potions and buffs. Other than that, the game looks like it could be fun as fuck.
I hope there are more costumes

We've only seen one aspect of the game, and that's hunting big robo dinosaurs. I don't even like using the Bow and Arrow in Monster Hunter so if that's all it has it isn't enough.
Will be waiting for more but so far its nothing spectacular.
Mechanical monsters look rad like Freedom Wars, but I'm not really hot about the rest of the aesthetics. A lot of gimmicky stuff too, like getting a resource by breaking a certain body part (it has been done before). Not too hot on the idea of a shoehorned protag in a hunting game, and really odd coming from a western dev since the dogma is usually make-your-own-character.

However, I don't believe it one second. It looked quite good on E3, and oh man, we already see the first problems. Both technically and in gameplay I mean, graphically, there was already texture popping in on E3 show, but here it's another level. Texture are still popping in, but in addition, it's now way less impressive than before. See around 40 seconds of the video, it seems so poor. Rest of the video show poor light effect and not so good graphics in overall.
Gameplay seems not so interesting. A few boss fight might be nice but otherwise it seems pretty bland. If it wasn't for a original setting, I wouldn't even be interested in.
