PC gaming needs to be destroyed. It is a cancerous abomination. PCs are for work and browsing the internet. Blu-Ray players are for movies. iPods are for music. Consoles are for games.
Let's examine the PC "gaming" experience"

>Deal with Windows operating system on a daily basis

The thing is, you can't disprove any of this. You KNOW it's true. And that's why PC gaming needs to be shot in the head like a diseased animal. Gaming was best when PCs were quarantined as the platformer for shitting "machur" games. Now they've infected the rest of gaming and ruined it.

You have the most powerful console that launched cheaper than the main competition. You have Nintendo outright shitting the bed with Wii U and turning their product from "good second console" like Wii to "who fucking cares" due to poor marketing, mediocre launch titles, and unclear appeal.
You have momentum. E3 that year was glorious for Sony and once a console catches that early fire it takes a long time to slow it down. Early adopters influence their friends. You have enough strong console exclusives to win people on the fence. Killzone looked better than Ryse, regardless of the fact both were meh. Bloodborne drew people. FFXIV is the best console MMO you can play. Plus you can get ESO if you want. Xbone has....Neverwinter. Project Spark. Those aren't pulling numbers like PS4 titles.
They do too many remakes but they're smart and doing mostly popular titles. Plus that seems to be slowing. They don't get on stages and tout side tech like Hololens for half the show. They come out swinging with games then flood you with games until it's over. They have established deep working relationships with devs and publishers over the last 20 years so when a game gets announced even multiplat, Sony has a good chance of being the stage it happens on. In those 20 years Sony has published games big and small and put out things that are different. The Unfinished Swan is one of the most creative indie games I've played and Sony made it happen. PS+ is dollar for dollar a better deal than Live. Nobody cares about the arguments against it.
