I don't even bother anymore since I know I won't be able to fuck its shit up before it fucks off.
>Anon uses assassin's stab!
>The Liquid Metal Slime smoothly dodges the attack. The Liquid Metal Slime is hit in the soft spot! The Liquid Metal Slime dies!
Thank you, Falcon Knife Earring.

Enjoy your less than 10% chance of inflicting damage, even past your misses.

That shit doesn't work.
Tested it myself.
I'm ready

Heart literally stopped for a few seconds when you hear and see it flee, the cunt.
>>320006915
I agree, but I still like DQ.
>>320007139
It did. I used it on a Metal King Slime and it dodged the first attack, but one second later, the second hit registered as a kill.
I only did it once, granted but it still happened. Dragon Quest IX was very weird with its RNG.

So are there any nevermiss attacks? In FFVI I could use Blitz to kill Cactuar.
>>320006958
I don't get it
>>320008016
No. There are a few that are "crit or bust" tho.
Each game has it's own unique tricks for metal hunting too. Like using bedragon in 3.

Though for most later games, once you grind hard enough you'll have high enough stats that you can at least guarantee a hit.
>>320006958
Wha? I , fuck I missed it.
>>320008167
I still dont get it

Metal Slimes are random encounters in the Dragon Quest series. They give tons of EXP, I mean a fuck load. Usually they run away before you attack and if you do have a turn they have a high dodge rate.
