Shit like the Game Awards. They're what brought vidya into the spotlight and attracted the SJWs and made AAA devs completely stop innovating because everyone wants the next iteration of CoD/BF/AC etc. Completely killed the chance for smaller devs to gain any sort of popularity (you can't really use people like Toby Fox as a counter to this since that was a one-off pandering game that was bound to sell well).
