Eh, it's a quirky Earthbound clone with decent humor but little gameplay.
Boss battles are fun. Gameplay is not the strong point, pacifist is dull and genocide is slightly less dull (except has 2 fucking great boss battles)

Yeah I went to the general and there's nothing about game play, just fangirling.
I recommend it. The story is its strong point for sure, game play in itself is very linear. Though you do have to make some moral choices that affect the ending. But it's still engaging and entertaining because the story is great, characters funny and the soundtrack is really good.
