If anything, it just shows that he doesn't understand tsundere character development. They're supposed to turn from cold to loving, but I don't think any of the text really reflects Ember opening up to the player. You get the same scenes with her wanting it at first, and then trying to deny wanting it afterwards. It gets really, really, really old. A badly written tsundere character often comes off as worse than just a badly written character.
