There really is a problem with motivation. Plenty people have the skills to blow those platforms open, but you have to do it for free, and then wow, you can play shitty games with those three $400 consoles you bought, two of which are completely exploded in parts. That's so awesome!
Back then, people sold chips, programmable cartridges and shit, plus the games were fucking awesome. I missed the big age of piracy for I was too young at the time, and only acquired the skills when the PS2 released, but I nonetheless built my own GBA cartridges and pirated my PSX and PS2 on my own and contributed to the findings of plenty exploits. Because piracy was worth it, and people were motivated to do it. Not anymore. I would have never expected that vidya would end up being so shit that it would end up killing piracy.
Anyway, enjoy pirating Bloodborne I guess, though considering it's the only worthwhile exclusive you surely have it already, and even then it's grossly overrated because it's just a half-assed DS2.
