It's the first videogame to recognize the fact that all toasters toast toast.
Most people think that toasters toast bread, but this is only half of the story. Bread transitions to being toast while inside the toaster, and the toaster continues to toast it after this transition point (which is not clearly defined), ergo all toasters DO toast toast, as well as toasting bread.
The only possible logical flaw in Mario's statement is that broken toasters do not toast toast, but since the fundamental attribute of a toaster is that it toasts bread/toast and occasionally bagels, this is largely irrelevant and there is a good case to be made that non-functional 'toasters' are not toasters at all.

By "I don't like it" I take it to mean you exclude shit people don't like because they felt like a personal betrayal of the series. Which eliminates a lot of the games that would be in my top ten worst list of shit.
So that kind of criteria aside, the worst games would be shit like pic related that is just utterly fucking broken. There are probably a lot of games like this, but this is one that always comes to mind for me where the controls didn't work, the goals of the game were vague, the graphics and music were shit etc.

Yep, MS-DOS TMNT1. There was a jump to make you couldn't actually do. It was too long, and there was a ceiling in the way anyway so even if you did get a good clear jump, you couldn't make it
