I'd rather have pure 3D. Fuck pre-rendered backgrounds, I hate having to control tiny pixels on the screen and having to find interactible bullshit that is impossible to tell apart from the background.
dynamic lighting effect but same old pixel graphic likes indies game now.
This is the one that should have gotten the intensive remake treatment (that VII is getting instead). Nothing short of that level of attention and care would justify any kind of remake, givrn how well the original has aged (how strongly it still stands).
