There is considerable overlap between PS4 and PC. I own 8 PS4 tiles, 3 of which have PC/Bonedrone counterparts (bundle came with GTAV). Whereas I own 10 Wii games that you can't get anywhere else.

PSN is having discounts right now, but they're never as big as the Steam sales. You'll sometimes see pretty good games 50-75% off though. A few days ago MGS5 was selling for €35 while the cheapest I've seen on Steam was €45.

I'd say yes. I also have a decent gaming PC but I always end up buying consoles down the line because of the exclusives. I'm getting a PS4 next year when Ratchet & Clank comes out. That plus Bloodborne, Nier Automata, Ni No Kuni 2, Dragon Quest 11, and Yakuza 6 won me over. Then there's FF15 which I'm sure is coming out on PC eventually but I don't want to wait months post-release to finally play it.

I have a decent gaming pc and had his same dilemma. Decided to wait until there were at least 4 console only titles that i wanted before i bought one. Maybe go by that principle?
Albeit, for your case in particular, i would wait even longer until the smaller, cheaper, better version of the console that is always released, is released. Give it another year and you might have even more game options to tempt you.
