It's not happening
If the Wii U gets Rare Replay it should get all of the Xbox games on it too just the way the Xbone got the N64 games.
Which is where the problem lies, the Xbox games work as an emulator that installs the games onto the Xbone. The Wii U is barely more powerful than the Xbox 360, it could hardly emulate it

Sea of Thieves is going to be multiplat for Xbox and PC so there's that, not on Nintendo though
but i don't think they're going to have Rare make any big games on the Wii U.
ports is easy to put on, but making a new game is to many resources
