Yeah, I've been wanting another Third-Person MOBA ever since SMNC died. My biggest complaint about MOBA's is that they insist on using the retarded RTS controls even though it's not an RTS, or even a mod of an RTS anymore.Too bad it's going to be ruined by some jewy shit like p2w or DLC out the ass

yea i will play it, and i don't even think MOBAs are that great but this seems to drop the RTS tropes and just make a competetive action game.
Oh well i will probably get into the alpha assuming all those emails for surveys and other alpha news are any indication.

TPS mobas are boring, so little is happening in a typical game that you feel youre doing a whole lot of moving and shooting and not achieving much

Paragon looks like a traditional MOBA, while Overwatch is completely different with its own objectives which are more like TF2

And that's precisely why it interests me
The only thing it takes from MOBAs is the passive + spammable abilities + an ultimate
Everything else fits a FPS better, the map designs and the objectives.
Paragon sticks too much to the MOBA concept, and its map design is shit for a shooter, just 3 straight lines, and it won't have last-hitting either so minions are jsut decorative. I would also bet my money that they will simplify the items to cookie-cutter builds, or have an advancement system like HoTS where you pick a passive/skill every level
Yet another monster of a mish mash of genres that no one will play and it'll rot in a corner much like the other 10 "moba" TPS's out there
I like the game of Moba, but I don't like the top down, button pushing gameplay of DOTA2 and LoL so I'll probably enjoy Paragon. Looks fun.
They need to also make more moba shooters, or maybe moba tank games, or moba whatever. Arena multiplayer games have always been fun, even when it was just Arena shooters like Quake.
Will it be f2p with the LoL model, or buy to play?
If its f2p i'll definately try it, otherwise i'll skip.
Got sick of Dota 2 after about 1400 matches and being stuck at 3.5k for the entire second half of that.
Been looking to try out these TPS-MOBA hybrids since. Paragon looks best out of all of them and Epic is a developer I can usually count on to make an at least 8/10-worthy game.
It might be amazing, might not be amazing, but it definitely won't be shit.
