I'm playing the dlc to beyond earth right now, and while i'm enjoying it fuck some of their gameplay decisions, they had neat ideas with the diplomacy but as it is now its completly ruined.
I am really enjoying the unit variety though, and am glad to see spies low tier missions are just as op as vanilla.
Because I played like 3 matches and it's pretty boring.

Biggest problem I have with this game is lack of hotseat.
One of favorite things to do with my brothers is to just leave a computer up with civ 5 and just slowly take turns playing the game when their visiting.

Civ 5 and beyond earth both work for it.
I remember the Age of mythology game for the ds had it as well, which was great considering its a ds game that you can easily pass around.

The AI can't handle how I play, minus sometimes the necrophage.
I use a modified draken that focus on economy like the roving clans, but you can't start war for shit with me, and everyone is forced to be my best buds.
Its retarded and fucks up anyone hoping to win through military means as i straight up becomes impossible as shit and I love it.

Money money money. The start is always slow until your economy picks up, then the rest of your shit follows through. Since you can diplomacy everyone else out the ass as long as your not to pressured to much you don't have to spend to much if any resources on military unless you're in trouble
Lait game is where depending on how you set up if you need to focus on economy or a diplomacy win, but both are more or less the same, you simply focus on either getting influence points as fast as you can or gold. Make sure to higher heros that have bonus towards these and stuff them in your cities.
You might also consider getting the traits that gives extra points for having less movement speed. You ain't armies for shit anyways.

Lost Tales is 23 extra quests. Worth it on sale.
Lost Songs of Auriga is extra music and recolors of ingame items. Not worth it but feel free to buy it if you just want to throw money at the devs.
But seriously, wait for a sale and just buy the complete pack for $20.
