Otherwise while I haven't played it yet Paper Jam does look underwhelming as fuck. Alphadream needs to make a new Tomato Adventure or some new IP, whatever it is it'll probably actually get localized this time.

Ive actually been playing it, and it is terrible, but some reasons are more apparent than others. Its a fucking lazy boring game first of all. I'd say the biggest flaw that makes the game even worst is the cardboard paper battles. Jesus they fucking suck.

I feel like besides the big three Wii U games this year it's mostly been an opportunity for Nintendo to flush a lot of ideas down the toilet. It's like they were clogging them up and had to get shat out pretty bad.

Are you talking about the Paper enemies that have multiple copies of itself? Not sure how far you are yet, but I recommened spamming Mario's Bombs because the bombs are treaten as a fire attack and can easily take out the multiple copies of 1 Paper enemy.
