Steam has its support for more platforms in its favor. The vast majority of the games I have from Steam will run on my Windows tablet, Mac laptop, and Linux PC.
I avoid Origin meanwhile because games from it tend to only be available for Windows and I'm not really keen on being stuck playing them on a tablet OS.
Steam, GoG, and Humble are all good at multiplatform so those are the stores I tend to use.
