It was the best Bioshock control-wise
In the other bioshock game you're fighting agains imprecise and clunky controls sometimes, here you have perfectly functional and slick controls
Not to mention the older bioshocks relied on tons of tedious backtracking

I don't hate infinite but come on OP, we all know the first game is the best objectively

>i hate the game for this arbitrary reason because it's a similar system to that in cod, which i hate because it's popular.

I hate how the philosophies of this series went from a kind of darker spin on Atlus Shrugged to 'lol racism is bad XD'.
Such a waste of potential.

I think they tried to maintain the biggest idea that your choices, no matter how small they may seem, have massive magnitude.
But instead of, yannow, let you actually choose they had an ending which seems like someone was high.
Bioshock 2 doesn't turn to shit at any point. It's always fun. It harder than 1 as well. The plot isn't as 'REVOLUTIONARY' but it's stronger overall imo, the characters and your characters in particular are more interesting than any meta commentary Bioshock 1 and Infinite went for.
I mostly like 2 because it focused on gameplay and pacing whereas the other Bioshocks are all over the place.
