Any games as polished as StarCraft II but with a focus on defense and base building as oppose to rushing and offense?
One that has walls, sentries etc...
Red Alert 2 was pretty great with that, but 3 online is dead.
Supreme Commander is good.

Unfortunately seeing as almost all RTS developers focus on the competitive aspect. There's not much out there for us turtlers.

There is no new games because every new strategy games attempts to mimic Starcraft 2 in that aspect so it's all about rushing and making deathballs. There is no strategy in strategy games anymore, it's all about amassing a bigger deathball then your opponent and simply winning.

I don't play Starcraft, I just watch whenever Totalbisuit has a league. And that's all it ends up doing. DEATHBALL DEATHBALL or a rushed "cheese".

At least not anymore since about starcraft broodwar´s time.
Warcraft 3 was as unpolished as a freshly fallen turd. Reused models with extremely cheap reskins that clip and jag, etc.
