I know what you mean, that's the one that broke. I like the feel of it and all that quite a bit, but this is the second one that has broken in less than a year. The other started double clicking constantly, but this one got a break in the wire after only about a month. Shit only works in this tiny corner of my desk. Anywhere past the red line and it doesn't exist. I've suffered with it for nearly a year now because I'm cheap but it's starting to even stutter in the corner.

I've got a question, i've been browsing this site where you can order stuff from China and i've seen many ok-looking mouses but their price is the main problem. What's exactly wrong with them?Like there was some effort put into their looks but if they're worth 5$ that means they're just a shitty mouse posing as "gaymer" stuff, right?

If they are no-name brands then they probably are shit.
But to be honest I don't know much about mouses.
Low quality keyboards will have issues where you cannot type on several keys at the same time and so on but not sure about mouses, probably a weak optic and slow response.

Been using an EC1 eVo for a little over two years now, just started double clicking recently. I had a G400 before this and had more issues with it (double clicking on three different buttons, coating was pealing off on the sides), tried a DA2013 before the EC1 but I really didn't like its surface (felt very rough, like sandpaper - also tried a G500 which felt the same). I love the coating, size and shape of the EC1, my only complaint is that I'm stuck to Zowie's presets for DPI. Wish I could go down to 800, but I'm so used to 1150 at this point that it's not a huge deal. I feel like I got my money's worth and I plan on replacing it with one of the updated models.

If you want the DA size & shape with better build quality, try the EC1. Alternatively you could try the IME 3.0, I've seen them for sale new in box on Amazon for less than $20 a few times. Same shape, a little bigger, and from what I've heard they are the most reliable (I think it's one of the few mice I've never heard anyone suffer from double click with). I'm not a fan of the plastic coating, though, it always makes my hand sweat. I've really fallen in love with rubber coatings for mice.
>>

Sensor isn't flawless and its worth buying a 6 dollar cable as the one it comes with is stiff, but otherwise fantastic mouse.

Better shape than the 502 and better button placement.

Seriously why more mouse don't do 4 side buttons on one side is beyond me, its fucking perfect that way. A quick thumb roll having that much control is great.

I guess most try to be nice to both left and right handers by putting things on both sides, but it always means half the buttons are fucking useless wastes of space.

G502, bought it last black friday, still works like new. I play many different types of vidya so I need the extra buttons. Looks big and angular in the pictures, but it's very small and the hard angles don't even touch your hand. They are there more to caress and lift your index and middle fingers' contour, so that they naturally arc at a downward slant.

Thumb rest is hella nice, I never knew how good a thumb rest was since none of my previous mice had one. Can't live without one now, the side of my thumb no longer gets friction burn when I play for long periods.

Extra buttons on G502 work alright, no negatives but everyone says that about all mice, so nothing special there. Even with all the weights inside, my G502 is still lighter than my old MX518, not lying.

ONE complaint I do have, is that the infinite scroll wheel doesn't unlock when you spin it fast, you have to press a button to unlock it. Used an MX Revolution that had a feature that would unlock the mouse scroll to infinite scroll by simply spinning the wheel quickly.

G502 is the BEST mouse I've owned and I've been gaming on pc since FEAR when I built my first rig.

Buy it.

Mouse is good until the rubber you rest your finger on starts going to shit a few months down its life. mine started double clicking about a month or 2 ago and I finally replaced it with some Roccat mouse.

I really dont know who thought putting rubber was a good idea because youre just going to wear it down eventually, without a doubt. Besides that, the driver was shit but it was a good mouse.

I'm still using the MX518 but its time for a new one soon.

What modern mouse is like that? I NEED only that has the same type of clicky mousewheel.
The one that just spin through are garbage.

Hey, if they don't send one then big woop. I spent literally 4$ after my giftcards on it. My assumption is that they decided to honor their warranty and get my item back so they bitch to Amazon about it.

If I never get it back, I'll have by redditbots spamupvote my razor posts

I literally took a giftcard and bought the 5 cheapest mice with a few 5 button mice. so no not really. I don't really care. The money was basically free anyway. I just did it to have backups and see how different mice felt
