Blu-ray discs don't scratch. Even regular DVDs I've had in those sleeves for years and have scraped them around work fine

I throw out my cases but keep all my manuals and covers in a plastic crate in my cupboard. That way if I want to sell something I just grab a spare case later. I use cd books and everything is fine. Even Super Nintendo games; I flatten the cardboard, fold it out again when I need to sell. Nobody can tell the difference.
