Well boys, looks like Sony is buying out Nintendo.

Imagine an industry with Sony and Nintendo on the same side
>>319850789
I can see it now. Sonyfriends would act like they've always loved Nintendo games.
>>319850698
If it means the complete purge of NoA's staff I'm all for it.
Nintendo would never sell to filthy gaijins
>>319850698
More likely that Microsoft would buy them desu senpai
>>319850949
>filthy gaijins
That's Xbone Sony is Japan
>>319850892
But I've always been sonytendo
>>319850914
Honestly, that would be great. But I have a bad feeling about Sony fucking up and doing something stupid.
no thanks i dont want all my nintendo game to be cinematic experiences at 27 fps, at least with kiddy games i got a lot more of gameplay and 60 fps
>>319850892
Jap stronk
>>319850892
But I grew up with NES and SNES. I love Nintendo as much as Playstation.
>>319850698
Every year since the ps1 launched people have been telling me that sony will buy nintendo.
>>319851324
I wish all framerate fags would kill themselves. Literally no one cared about framerate last gen but now this gen if digital foundry tells you the framerate isn't perfect you shitpost and act like it's broken and shit.
I'd take great graphics over framerate any day. Only games where framerate actually matters is high speed racing games, twitch shooters, and fighting games.
>>319850698
Sony literally does not have enough money to buy Nintendo. And even if they did, Sony has a shitload of debt, so they wouldn't dare spend all their cash buying Nintendo.
Neither of these two companies will buy each other out. It's obvious if you take a look at their financial statements.
>>319851541
>>319851596
Shhhhh, leave the consolewarriors with their delusions.
>>319850698
Isn't Sony still on the verge of bankruptcy? If anything the Sony gaming division will get bought by Nintendo and the rest will be devoured by vultures.
>>319850698
Sony's game department has no money, if they failed ps4 it would have been over for them, so no, they will not ever buy Nintendo.
>>319851596
Actually, how healthy is nintendo in the financial side?
>>319850698
Sony couldn't buy lunch.
>>319851541
>tfw you spot an underage post
>>319850789
It would be a fucking dystopia. The worst practices of both would align.
This needs to happen. Jap devs need to band together to stop the atrocity that is America
>wanting monopolies
>ever
are you people mentally deficient?
>>319852040
Taking a quick glance over their financial statements, they seem to be doing pretty well.
Got enough cash to pay off any debt. Plenty of assets. Nintendo's biggest issue is their declining operations. Sure, Nintendo is not going to die anytime soon. But it won't grow as a company, and it might even contract a bit, if it doesn't get its operations going.
>>319851541
>Literally no one cared about framerate last gen but now this gen
>>319850789
It might be alright when Sonytendo does it. I'm not sure.
Maybe they can buy out someone who can revive the Vita.
>>319850698
>thinking Sony can afford to buy out Nintendo
>not the other way around
>>319850698
More like Kojima since his spending habits are equivalent to an entire studio's.
Nintendo is nowhere near being a position where they would even have to consider the possibility of selling, especially not to a company in such financial trouble as Sony.
They spent fucking years building a security net for themselves and it's stable enough to last them decades.
>>319852556
In his defense framerate has become a bigger selling point and feature for video games than it was before.
I'm pretty sure Nintendo has stated multiple times they'd go die and take all their IPs with them before they'd ever be bought out by someone else.
>>319853130
I doubt anyone has the ability to outright buy them out.
>>319850698
Sonyppondo
nippon strong
>>319852019
Sony pictures, sony games, and their insurance company are all safe.
Their electronics section is what has them in the red, if anything is gonna be jettisoned it's gonna be that, however, with their insurance and game divisions alone, they're not going out of business any time soon.
>>319853185
how much it would cost the Mario Ip if they actually sell it? that shit keeps selling millions even after all this years.
>company that is constantly losing money and hit junk status two times
>buying anything
