What are some games that obviously cheat against you?
is that darksydephil?
>>319829916
Civ. 5
YGO Forbidden Memories
Anything with rubberband AI
Mordheim city of the damned
That Yugioh game on the PS1 is confirmed to change its hands to whatever it wants, if you test what it can play by using save states.
>>319829916
Most strategy games (AI has full maphack, in some games they even ignore resources or just get free units)
Most racing games (rubberbanding)
Every shooter game by definition (every FPS bot uses aimbot, none of them try to visually recognize the player. This is important because they often see through things that the player can't, like grass. This is very obvious in games like STALKER)
mario superstar baseball
Advance Wars 1, fog only stops the AI from looking into forests and reefs.

Post the pasta, you know the one.
Versus Puzzle games where the CPU has access to what pieces are coming next and lands combos via skyfall.
Kind of hard to explain
>EO
>Game where you decide actions for the whole party, then let the turn play out
>Enemies don't have limitations like you and will decide actions on the spot
Pretty minor though
>>319830990
I fucking hate ones like that.
A similar thing are games where you and your opponent use spells, but they have unlimited MP.
Thankfully EO doesn't do that and you can drain the fuck out of your opponents.
>>319831248That's pretty much the easiest mission in the story mode though, especially on hard+
>>319829916
AHAHAHAHAHA
Age of Empires 3 on hard difficulty. AI straight up cheats and gathers resources faster than you. By the time you have enough to attack it has an army 3-4 times larger than yours.
>>319829916
Pretty much every strategy game on a harder difficulty.
>>319831617
Fuck no.
>>319829916
The Cainhurst HoH in Bloodborne, and to a lesser extent the Rifle Spear Yahar'gul Hunter.
Those fuckers read your inputs and move the instant a button is pressed.
>>319830006
>deity AIs start with 4 technologies, 2 settlers, 5 other units and half the time/cost requirements for most things in general
>>319830006
This. They don't even try to hide it.
Faggot-ass CPU players will be sitting at zero gold and losing 100+ gold per turn (meaning their military units should be disappearing due to no upkeep) and not only do they have to deal with any internal strife, they can still invade your ass with a dozen or more units.
The CPU also ignores negative happiness and gets gigantic production and science bonuses unless you're playing on the retardo-easy difficulty. Vanilla Civ 5 is bullshit, install balancing mods.
>>319829916
Total War
I guess 'cheating' in this context only makes sense if you set up a match with bots which are supposed to be equal to you.
So a stealth game in which a guard detects you and everyone automatically knows your exact position wouldn't count, but it still feels like bullshit.
>>319832602
That's just shit game mechanics.
Guards needing to set off alarms and yell for help is GOAT.
Thief 1/2 and MGS3 are great in this regard.MGS1, 2, and 4 get a pass because it's canon that the guards are connected by a nanomachine neural net, specifically for this purpose.
Any of the Fight Night games. Especially Round 2. The AI will block 90 percent of any random combination you throw at them and at time the only way to win is to exhaust yourself to the point where you can only throw one punch. And it's very blatant.
>>319829916
40k Dark Crusade
SupCom if you allow it or do it yourself
>>319829916
M. Bison
Chess game in Karahzan

>>319830693
Its rubberbanding has been proven to be worse than Mario Kart's.
>>319833204
And I'm a casual shit and still beat it on the hardest difficulty.
Ironically, the mission that took me the most time was the one with no enemies to rubberband me.
And that's still not factoring in Mario Kart's item rubberbanding.
Have you forgotten me, /v/?
>>319831740
This.
>barely out of the colonial age
>playing against CPU
>playing as Ottomans to pump out as many resources as I can
>have about 90% of the trading posts
>think I'm doing good
>then the British come and blitzkrieg my ass with wave after wave of enemies
>stunned because I've only played multiplayer up until then and didn't think of it as possible to start an attacking so early game
I still think AOE 3 is a god tier rts though. I remember spending hours and hours with my friends on the game.
>>319833381
This is on its own level
Any and every fighting game with a story/arcade mode.
As you get farther into the single player, the AI starts blatantly reading your inputs and reacting to them at the speed of light.
this fucking piece of shit
RTS is a large offender because its easier to give a dumb ai and advantage than code a smart but not omnipotent ai with the same resources.
I remember playing C&C, carried out airstrike to destroy all 4 silos (each can hold 1400 credits)
Within seconds I see all 4 rebuild at the same time (not possible to build more than one building at a time)
Next I see their harvester come in and fill all 4 silos in one load (normally one load = 700credits, 4silos+refinery=6600 credits)
>>319833719
>KoF XIII final boss
Literally a cheating cocknozzle
>>319834427
They could also build their special weapon way sooner than you. Very aggravating.
pokemon stadium 1 and 2, the AI reads inputs and also is far luckier than he should be.
>>319834732
Adding to this, the Crystal Battle Tower and Gen 6 Battle Maison.
They fucking dodge undodegable moves every turn while nonstop critting.
Turn based RPGs where the enemy gets two turns, fuck that
>>319833364
The topic isn't about whether or not somebody can beat it. It's about if a game cheats or not.
You only came in here to try and feel good about doing something that many other people have done. This whole 'git gud' shit is an embarrassment.
>>319829916
cheeky fucking robot kek

Mods to balance the broken ciV AI? Where do I sign up?
>>319830336
>this
STALKER on hardest difficulty made me want to punch myself in the dick until there's nothing there
>>319833719
I remember how retarded Seth was in SFIV for me. Like I knew I sucked shit at the series but he really made me feel bad about everything.
>>319830674
the AW1 and 2 AI is brutal. on FoW they can shoot at any tile regardless if they can see it or not, except for forests/reefs. though that said they always know when you're hiding in those spots anyway.
thankfully the AI is really dumb and easy to abuse, so the cheating is just there to make them seem like they can put up a fight
>>319834996
No, I'm here to tell you that your example is "wah, this game cheats hard" when it barely does at all.
The worst it gets is in the obviously titled "Hard Mode", and even then the game is designed with those mechanics well in mind.
"Cheating" would fall more under the gate to "Save Jodie" closing a second before it's supposed to.
jade from umk3
This fucker.
>>319835029
This one's particularly good since she canonically rigs the dice and is even called out for cheating in-universe.
I can sort of excuse it though considering there's not really anything else you can do for the final boss of a board game.
doesn't Starcraft II AI get like 7-9 resources per node instead of 5
>>319835809
The whole game is rigged, the difficulty makes it even harder
http://www.gamedesign.jp/flash/dice/dice.html
You can still win. But your rolls will always be a lot worse than your opponents'.
>>319835872
I guess that can be excused, since micro matters so much which the AI can't do.
>>319829916
The majority of games that you play against some form of AI.
Racing, Strategy, Card, FPS, even stuff like RPGs.
To be honest, most games flat out cheat in general.
>>319836115
That gif gets me every time.
>>319835991
I win this game all the time, get gud fagget.
>>319830336
>FPS bot uses aimbot, none of them try to visually recognize the player
this

>enemy sees me crouch-walking at 200ft through extremely dense foliage
>tfw i can't see them if my life depended on it
>cloak engaged
>90% of the time spent watching the radar for enemies since visual target acquirement=nearly impossible in early missions
>>319835991
Won it first try, and my rolls were pretty consistent with what the AI got.
>>319832838
You're an idiot. Holy fuck. Horrendous.
>>319837686
It's not that the game can't be beaten. It's that you have to know that you need several more dice than a neighbor to attack their cell. Also, starting with some corner/edge cells with two or less neighbors is extremely helpful.
Last of Us. No matter how stealthy you're being, enemies will always slowly gravitate toward your position.
>>319835138
The thread on the awful forums has some recommendations. There are also a few discussions on the civ fanatics forums with links.
>>319835159
Playing STALKER on any difficulty but master is shit tier
Fucking HELLDIVER.
Jesus shitting cocknozzle if another tank decides to drop out of the sky and instantly alert I'm going to strangle someone.
>>319833137
Honestly I forgot how I won against that but I think all I did was wait for the enemy to come to me and kill them then take the king up and kill their hero
Blood Bowl. All of them.
I know the AI is still stupid as hell, but the fact that they get pieces that are blatantly higher level than your own is ridiculous.
>>319837687
>FPS bot uses aimbot, none of them try to visually recognize the player
That's a pretty ridiculous claim for cheating, what would you expect, the game to render a 1st person perspective for every AI character in use, attempt to identify the player purely based on the image and then discard it?
That is both impractical and so disastrously inefficient that I doubt it could ever make it into an actual game.
>>319833719
>mvc3 on very hard
>throw jab receive triple hyper combo
>>319833770
To be fair the game was so broken that the AI had to cheat to even have any hope of winning.

>>319829916
In Twisted Metal 2, the AI-controlled cars could each do something you couldn't when you controlled them. Mr. Slam could shoot infinite freeze blasts and Axel could use his special attack over and over again without having to recharge it.
>>319833005
Dawn of War AI doesn't cheat you are just shit at the game.
>>319832838
Dude FN2 was great, you just literally need to git gud. Create openings using parrys, hell even blocking. If they block high, punch low, vice versa. Make sure you don't bite the AI's parrys. Wind up your haymakers. I didn't have trouble at all once I got the hang of it. Game is fucking GOAT. Round 3 (or 4, I can't remember) was shit, they changed the amazingly precise controls for no fucking reason.
>>319835872
Speaking of Starcraft AI, yall seen this shit? Not super impressive from a game play standard, but it's really interesting from a computer learning perspective.
