I like playing support characters that just buff/debuff constantly. Healing feels too similar to DPS to me in most MMO's.

Medic in Resistance 2. To date my favorite medic role in any game I've ever played. I don't remember the details too well, and the class was heavily combat-oriented like others, but iirc they could revive people and had a gun that drained life from enemies and while draining built up charges that you could use to heal your teammates. Was good time
Or even FFXIV, I guess moreso pre-Heavensward, where Scholar was more of a support/DPS class who healed on the side while the WHM did the majority of the healing

Disc priest played great in WoD, though.I'm out before I get bullied to hell for still playing wow. I know it sucks but I'm with the same guild since BC.
