to me, shooters are games like r-type, gradius, AS or sol feace
as far as raiden goes, its just not complex enough, you basically choose between power or spread on both weapon types
im not saying shooters are complex games, but raiden is particularly simple compared to AS valken or ikaruga, or even a gradius game
