Fingertip + Claw. Fingertip when look up, left and right. Claw when going from fingertip grip to look down.

Feels like you lose control with palm grip, as you have to move your whole arm to do certain moves.

Obviously you don't play games that require a lot of precision. Your finger tips are made for precision, moving your wrist/forearm is just inefficient.

i used palm grip, but my mouse got really greasy after a few years use becasue of moisturizer, and it was impossible to wash off for some reason. it was starting to get uncomfortable to touch, so i started to use the fingertip grip instead. after buying a new one, i stuck with the fingertip.
>>
Since it is related to OP's question, what is the mouse you use on a daily basis? What would you considering the pros and cons of it?

I bought a g400s about two years ago I think. I really enjoy using it. The main cons about it are that it takes a while to get use to using it because of the shape of the mouse and sometimes it is easy to accidentally push the mouse acceleration buttons. Also, the black plastic around the 'G' is tearing off already.

This
The people that use palmgrip are simply fat
Most people use fingertip grip, espacially during games
Gives the most / fastest accuracy while moving around and clicking rapidly.
>>
Fingertip, with big hands, and I can never find a comfy fucking mouse that's any good. I LOVED the G1 and then the G3, the shape and size is literally perfect for me, but Logitech have only continued this design in shit tier mice like the RX250, which is what I'm actually using now because nothing else is comfortable. I bought a "G3" from China earlier this year but it has horrendous input lag that I couldn't fix.

The only thing I've yet to try that looks promising (even though it doesn't have side buttons ffs) is the G100S, I'll grab one next year and probably send it straight back like I have done with a million other "fingertip" mice.

Every time I post this people think I'm kidding.

When I game I use a gamepad, steering wheel, or M+KB if it's a strategy game.

When I'm browsing and what not I scroll and click for hours. My wrists will kill me after doing this for a week.

Was weird at first, but once I quickly got used to it it was infinitely more comfortable

I think this is the biggest mouse they make. I have to very closely fingertip grip, if I palm it my fingertips slightly stick out. Would be got tier if I could palm it

That stands for Micro$oft Wheel Mouse Optical for you kiddos out there
>Not having your only contact points be the sides of your mouse and the buttons when you hit them

Fuck Im surprised by how many of you pcbros palm your mouse like a little baby. Its like trying to pitch a baseball, you get a lot more control if you just leave it up to the fingertips.

These might not match the profile to you liking, but the razer Taipan and Abyssus are close.

Steelseries came out with the Rival 100, which is pretty hard to go wrong with. I wish It were a bit smaller like the Salmosa, however.

If you wanna stick with logitech, the G100s is still available at some resellers.

Not sure what country you're in, so I cant be sure if my advice has much meaning to you. Good luck finding that perfect mouse again anon.

Palm grip.

I'm using a RAT7 so you can't use anything but the palm grip. The thumb and pinky rests are nice. I also really like that dampener button where the thumb sits.

I need to get a replacement but I don't know what mouse to pick that isn't another one of these babies. Had it for years now.
>>
>>319776994
I guess a mix of fingertip and claw I don't know. My fingers aren't curved like that my entire palm isn't off the mouse but a large portion is.
>>

fingertip

clawgrip is fucking killer on your joints after long periods and palm grip is so god damn uncomfortable
>>

Way to get scammed out of a $100 by people with infographics that don't take into account the fact that you have an upper arm and shoulder joint.
>>
>>319790770
Thanks man, I've already had an Abyssus, but I hadn't even looked at the Rival 100 but I will definitely keep that in mind. The Salmosa was too small for me so that isn't a problem.

Fingertip here.
The mouse touches my palm when I move it backwards and it's the biggest immersion breaker.
I can only use vertically short mice because of this.
>>
>>319790053
your arm is literally designed to twist like that. It's actually more comfortable and easier to sleep with your arm twisted.

>>319792058
Man I don't really care about the picture, all I know is since I started using this mouse I've never had pain in my wrist or arm
>>
>>319776994
Finger tip, switched from palm when I switched to G100s from g400s, which seems to be a better mouse because of the lighter weight and better form.
Also place about a little over a third of my forearm on the table. I used to only put my wrist on the table, but after messing around quite a bit, it seems having part of or all of your forearm on the table seems to be better (at least for shooters).

I rest my hand on the mousemat and move the mouse with my fingertips it's like a combination of all of them.

"Hand hovers in the air"

My hand isn't hovering, it is securely resting on my desktop. It's like the palm technique but with your hand moved a bit further back.

Holding your wrist in the air all the time would be a bitch.

Well I do use that grip sometimes, just not very often for the reason you said. "Hovering in the air" really suggests it's not resting on anything. Nothing is hovering in my grip.
