I am a former 360 owner. I got a PS4 and an Xbone. I greatly prefer the PS4. The UI seems faster and much more intuitive. And I've had surprisingly no issues with PSN and a ton with XBL recently. I also assumed I'd miss the Xbox controller but now I prefer the DS4.
I wouldn't even have an Xbox but my friends all refuse to switch over. Xbox may have more exclusives but I don't really care about Gears or Halo

Tons of issues with XBL? Indulge me. I'm on the XBL service almost constantly and it has yet to go down since last year this same month. As a matter of fact, I've heard recently SONY was tripping over themselves because OSN was crashing left and right.
Controller is no contest. XBOX wins hands down. Even as an assumed 360 owner you're just shit posting at this point because you wanna see your kicked started shenmu go somewhere.
You only mention Gears and Halo. The pocket goes deeper and even both those titles have all their respective games remastered on the One (besides some Gears but at least it's backwards compatible with all DLC and online interaction FOR FUCKING FREE)

NXE is still crap. Takes forever to load up and you still can't message strangers. Instead of New message>insert gamer tag>send you have to find their profile then create a message. And it's slow to load up.
As far as XBL issues, I've had multiple instances of when parties aren't working and when we test connection it says "some XBL services are currently down".
And remasters are cancer. If I wanted to play old games I'd plug in my 360 again

Full disclaimer, I'm casual AF and old. Probably too old for gaming. I enjoy playing strategy games on my MBP but have recently got into consoles again by playing BF4 online. Again, I don't care if my being "normal" ruffles feathers, I'm well aware I'm no longer hardcore. At the end of the day I'm not sure I can justify the price.
