Yeah i mean, I don't know if you are familiar with wow but there were some skills that allowed you to walk on water, take certain enemies out of combat, let players glide in midair, remove certain buffs etc. Also some classes were specialized in doing said above better than others.

Blizzard effectively managed to remove all the fun and homogenize every class. It feels no different tanking with a pally or a warrior, a hunter is nothing more than a rogue with a gun and so on.
