F.E.A.R. and it's expansions were great and F.E.A.R. 2 was ok save the ghost rape and the entire last portion of the game. F.E.A.R. was just shit all around. Sad though, I really liked F.E.A.R.'s story until ghost rape.

Well, I disagree. I think the ME universe had a lot of potential for future games to use, and they wasted it with that ending. There was plenty more they could have done within the pre-existing universe.

They may as well have made a new IP for that matter. If it's a separate galaxy entirely, that probably means no Reapers, which means no Mass Effect Relay, which means the name has literally nothing to do with the ME universe aside from space.
