Edgeworth did nothing wrong

He was a crooked prosecutor.
Yes he did. A plenty.
Edgeworth only becomes a good prosecutor in like 2-4. Where he actually starts to work together with the defense to find the TRUTH, not to just win the case.
Klavier gets a lot of hate, but I really liked him though. Because he's a proper prosecutor from the start. Although, because of that he gets like no character development at all.
Best prosecutor coming through
VON KARMA DID NOTHING WRONG

Was Dual Destinies any good? I got it ages ago, but never got around to it because I figured I'd need to replay the others first.
Lang did nothing wrong.
He stole the teacher's money and blamed Butz.

Yes. The cases are real good.
Although it's very easy and there's lots of handholding in this game. Or maybe I just became too genre-savvy after playing the previous titles.

Go away Butz, you smell.
>>319747516
Is it as easy as Layton vs. Wright? Because that got tedious as hell half way through because it was so obvious.

You know what they saywhen something Butz, it's usually the smells

You've got that wrong, pal.if the Butz smells, it's usually something

Get a load of these pals. Lemme correct youWhen something is usually, Butz smells.

He bashed Phoenix in the head to knock him out so he can steal and hide some evidence.
>>319746837
I always find it weird to remind myself that the court system in this game is horrible. Cases last three days, and execution is VERY common.
>>319749024
He used a stun gun, and it was in self defense
>>319747381
In case you're going to play it soon, remember to play the DLC case between the 2nd and 3rd ones.

>DLC case
Fuck, really? That's annoying. How much is it?
>>319747671
Not as easy as the crossover, of course. That game had seriously watered down gameplay from both series, so it wouldn't scare off the newcomers, that only tried either one. As the result it wasn't really all that satisfying for either fanbase. Still it was a good game, except the fucking ending.
>>319753278
I honestly never got that far. I had really high hopes for the game, and while it wasn't bad, it was fairly mediocre. Lost my save file for it about half way through, and figured that I kind of already knew enough of the story to avoid playing it through again.

How was that self-defense? He just zapped him to get that one document. That´s just straight assault. Also Von Karma fabricated tons of evidence and probably blackmailed witnesses, too.

>>319754462
Don't you guys forget he's also one tiny detail? He's a murderer.
>>319754617
And he's been fixing cases WORLD-WIDE for about 20 years, sending innumerably innocent people to execution.

Dual Destinies isn´t a crossover, so there´s no Layton puzzles in it. I enjoyed the story a lot and solving the cases isn´t hard. Didn´t like the DLC as much as the main cases though so not sure if it´s worth the 5 bucks.
Don't forget that the 2nd edgeworth investigates has a top-notch translation patch!
