The only Falcom game I remember having played is a remake of the first Ys. I got to that tower and what I believe was close to the final boss, but I put it down for some reason.

It's beautiful bros, this game really IS satisfying, goddamn I can already feel the emptiness that follows.
Those melodramatic yet well executed face slaps, that scripted gambit by Olivier at Hakan gate with the Erebonian Empire. Everything felt so hype near the ending
How important is Ys in Japan? It feels like it should be their Ultima.

eh the pc remakes have better gameplay due to the diagonal movement but something about the bright colors of the T16 versions and its soundtrack makes me prefer it
