Do you think parkour will become standard in FPS/FPP games?
>parkour
I fucking hate this word. In my mind it'll always be associated with teenagers running and jumping around like retards and thinking they're cool shit.
Let's just say "wall running" and "grappling hook". And yes, more advanced movement options is always good. The console original "turtle walking speed or sprinting but can't shoot" system is just atrocious.
Titanfall for example could have been a good game, if it didn't have CoD level shit gunplay.

Titanfall's gunplay isn't really much like CoD's.

Is Dying Light worth the money? It should dip down to $20 during the winter sale. I just completed Dead Island with a friend though (it was $3 for DI GOTY, Riptide, and some DLC shit) and I'm pretty sure Dying Light is just a better Dead Island. Will I actually enjoy it?
>>319743076
don't it used to be free running?
>>319744314
I don't even know how far you'd have to be from reality to think this. It's incredibly similar to CoD's.

Yeah, it's a fun game and what Dead Island was supposed to be. The setting is fresh and everything looks great.

Thanks bud

If you liked Dead Island, you'll probably like Dying Light. They have a re-released planned with some upgrades, so maybe you should just wait for that.

Rad, yeah I heard about that. I wonder if the re-released version would be able to play online with the original version. Kinda odd they're planning to re-release a year and a week after the original came out.
The Following is coming out for Dying Light next year.
Supposed to be bigger than the main game.l
Playing dying light now. Its pretty fun, especially pissing around with volatiles at night.

I wish there were more fps parcour games,. the problen with the current ones is that they require no skill. it's just advanced jumping.
I imagine some kind of team game where you have to maneuver a map with parcour. mirrors edge paired with rocket jumping or something in between.

Besides the ATROCIOUS optimization,
I think this game was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've ever had with a game in recent years, but my standards aren't exactly sky high.

Two different things
Also, is this game rally optimized poorly for PC? I torrented it after buying it on PS4 and I literally couldn't get out of the starting room in less than five minutes because it was stuttering so badly. I don't have the greatest computer but I had everything turned down to medium quality and no frills on or anything. It was fucking horrendous.
