If you were to behead and elf, would there be any way to identify its body as elven? Do elves have any features that make them notably different other than their ears?
Not that I'm planning to behead an elf or anything. Just wondering.

Given that in most works of fiction, elves are slender and tall, their bones would be much longer and most likely less dense, to a degree that would be immediately distinct from humans.
However, Saria isn't an "elf" in Ocarina of Time, she is a Kokiri. Kokiri are suggested to be ultimately plant-based in origin, given that Kokiri that get lost in the Lost Woods become Skull Kids (who have clearly wooden bodies) and that the Kokiri evolve to become the very clearly plant-based Koroks in Wind Waker.
This would mean a beheaded Kokiri would not have a skeleton at all, being a plant. This would probably make determining a Kokiri corpse even easier, however, as the wood decays in a completely different manner than a human body.
