Simply false advertisement. There wasn't a Chief in desert with guardians mission either, as advertised in the original 2013 trailer. I thought that'd be most of the game back then, which would have been cool if it actually was. Plus 20/80 split playtime for Chief/Locke.

I actually love the BTB maps they have at the moment. Basin is clearly the best, but Recurve and Deadlock are also great. Not a fan of Guillotine, but it isn't terrible. If they've made all those maps in Forge, then people are gonna create some amazing stuff. I will say one thing about Basin though, in that they really need to replace the rocket Warthog with a regular one. I've never managed to kill anyone with that thing, its useless.

I just don't want to get teamed up with Americans and Aussies and then play on American servers when I'm from Yurop myself. I love playing with Murricans because they usually have a mic but Halo 5 isn't like Battlefield 4 which has this weird sweet spot at a ping of ~130.

The forge thing kinda started with reach, but it was mostly to show that forge was vastly improved, there were only like 3 forged maps in rotation on release.

The issue is that they're forge creations, creating maps for BTB exclusively with forge over and over will get repetitive. Considering the same canvas's will be used over and over. Pretty sure a professional game studio can make good BTB maps. Rats Nest and Spire weren't amazing but they were ok.

Not all of the maps are fun, but regardless the issue is that they aren't traditionally made maps. They are lazily crafted Forge mode maps that any ForgeHub fuck can make, and a good chunk of those maps are Bungie remakes which only goes to show the testament and standards those maps have set.
The main issue, though, is that we were promised BTB maps thanks to the free DLC. However, 343 has not clarified whether or not these BTB maps are considered DLC or not and many are worried we will not received in-house BTB maps.

There are. That's the weird thing. I think in NL and somewhere in Ireland and somewhere else which I forgot. We have the same problem as the Aussies right now. I see nothing wrong when they team me up with Americans at like 3 am but no way I can't find a EU based Warzone lobby at the usual hours.

It's quite an improvement on the old Bungie way of 8v8 Slayer and Objective gameplay on handmade, non-Forge maps. I am glad 343 has help revolutionize and modernize Halo.

Since when can a Halo release with such few modes? Halo is known for tons of awesome modes including: Oddball, King of the Hill, Juggernaut, Assault. Headhunter, Race, VIP
