Guys, is Assassin's Creed finally dead? There should have been an announcement for another game by now going by Ubisoft's track record, but it seems like Syndicate dropped like a rock and nobody cares.

I hear they're taking a year off because they want to work on cover-based shooting mechanics as the series gets closer and closer to modern day. Supposedly, the next one takes place during the civil war and John Wilks Booth and all that shit. Supposedly, it starts with you failing to stop Lincoln's assassination, so Stanton kicks you out of the Templars, but after the chaos of the war, he recruits you back in because someone is targeting former generals of the war. The twist is that Stanton himself is actually ordered the assassination on Lincoln and Boothe was just a rogue assassin who complied. Supposedly, it's build a character with firearms and horseback riding being the new major mechanics.

Nah, Forgotten sands was good as fuck. Final Climb was the best platforming the damn series had.
Also Forgotten Sands is two games and the other one had some good stuff too, but was buggy as hell.
TT is okay, much better than it's predecessor.
PoP 2008 did the things it did well EXCEPTIONALLY well and did everything else terribly. I'd love to see a sequel where they fixed the shit and kept the good stuff

PoP pretty much ended with Sands of Time. If you look through fingers, Two Thrones can pass as somewhat passable, but still awful. Warrior Within? Let me guess than - Bioshock 2 is the best game in the series, just like AC3 is the best AC in existence.
