I played Brothers and I had no expectations, I was still disappointed. The control scheme was interesting but it never really went anywhere, game needed to be like three times as long and have some actual puzzles. It's literally an emotion- bait walking simulator.
MGS is kind of my go to series now for crying like the faggot I am, especially 3 and 4. Hell, even V despite being my least favorite MGS got me with that contaminated room.
FFVII made me cry bitch tears when I found Red's dad. FFIX hit me hard and I think it's mostly the happy ending mixed with the finality of it being the last of its kind in the series.
I unexpectedly cried at Dragon Age Origins. And I mean unexpected, I wasn't really that committed to the game, was just enjoying it mechanically. I sacrificed my dude and the whole funeral thing didn't get to me at all. What got me was that epilogue about shit that happened after the game and Sten saying awesome shit about me broke the dam.
To the Moon was probably the most recently released game (aside from MGSV) that got to me. I'm not usually one for love stories and whatnot but it had its own charm.
I need some more games to cry like a bitch over, I really enjoy the experience of letting go like that with no one around.
I remember crying at the end of Dark Cloud 2. That game deserves an HD re release.
