How many boss fights actually make you feel like "this is the end of the journey and you feel ready" type of feel? but at the same time you get other mixed feelings, and it makes you feel like this has to be done...I'm sorry. I really want this kind of immersion, to have these feelings in a game other than bland overdone story and generic battle systems. The only other game that i have played that comes close to this is dark souls.

DS1 does a great job. The final boss is a pushover compared to everything it takes to get there though.Kingdom Hearts 1 did a great job too.
In Persona 3 it has a rather depressingly-hype final month. Leading up to one of the best finale's I've ever played in a game. I can't really think of any others off the top of my head

Nah. Gwyn is a major disappointment. The last three boss is way harder than him. After the whole dlc, four guys, crazy assortment of dragons, and countless hollows, i kinda expect the undead god of pure destruction shitting on me. Instead, all i got is a dude who can't even dodge basic pyromancy. Heck, Manus is infinitely way harder than Gwyn and it's not even the last boss.
