I'd go with having a fucked up cerebellum. It doesn't affect rough moves, like walking and jumping, but screws up fine and small movements needed to operate a gun (think about trying to pick a lock without fingers.)

There's nothing wrong with being competitive, but I've seen people get kicked over the most stupid shit such as a guy getting votekicked for healing someone else or messing up a Jockey/Smoker group isolation attack. Furthermore, you got those people who just quit the game when they're losing, leaving you with with bots and one or two people on the opposing team. Versus is fun, but the people you have to play with is just not fun.

Campaign and survival are okay though.

Versus somehow has one of the most cancerous multiplayer community when it was active. I've played at least 100 hours of it and outside of premades of 7 friends, someone almost always left after 1 map. Like out of all that time, there's less than 10 times where a player just didn't up and leave because they get beat. I think it's a side effect of a shitty scoring system, especially in l4d1, and the fact that the game itself encourages you to rush as quickly as possible in order to shorten the amount of infected shittery. So you have faggots running a map and acting like they just did an actual marathon. Survivors were also way too easy and 80% of infected strategies involves ledges. Because organizing a 4 man stun when the other group is competent and rushing is not going to happen in a pub.

Maybe its because I played it pretty late in its cycle. I dunno, I feel like Versus could have been greatly improved if there were goal posts around the map that granted score multipliers. And there would be clear locations where if you split up to get all the score multipliers, you'd be stuck in that area for way too long so you either had to split up and go big or just forget it and hope the other team doesn't beat your score. Just make more use of the map. Zombies was not fun at all other than a Tank, and Tank half the time is about pussyfooting around and rock-sniping. You spawn, you get a survivor off a ledge, great but then you instantly die. A 4-man disable is a great feeling but those moments are just so far between each other with random monster spawns and the nature of pubs. Getting Jockey on any map without a drop is like whatever.

It's the L4D1 model.
L4D1 had much simpler designs and slightly cartoonish coloring compared to L4D2's full on realism.

Plus ripped models without any lighting or other effects on a plain background really expose every flaw and imperfection. It's hard as hell to find something that still looks good in a model viewer

The game is great until everyone learns the maps and how to play. COUNTLESS threads on their own forum give them exact details on what needs to be done to fix the game.

the only utility that the spitter has is breaking up clustered survivors, but that is the point of the hunter staggering, boomer staggering and blinding, and smoker stealing stragglers away forcing the others to run out to save them, the problem is this doesn't work because you can clip through each other and create the melee singularity

charger is overly powerful at stealing people away, something the smoker already should do
