I dont think I have died so much to a single boss in years.

When he jumps, don't hesitate, just start charging if you have him on aim
Practice this because timing is everything
If you time it right when he jumps he'll be turned his back to you and if you charge him you'll get a backstab
Visceral him
Do that until his second form, which you'll just dodge to his left and hit him with a fast skill weapon, equip bolt paper it helps
Practice timing everything don't feel bad if you die practicing
Try to see how well you can mdodge to his left and visceral him without getting hit

he's really not that hard but if you play a strength weapon and are used to staggering bosses and burning through their health he can be your bane because he's fast and hits hard. that said, if you get to this point in the game you should know the game plan already.
btw if you parry him he's just trivial.
His turn around attack takes 5 frames to dodge, he is poorly designed.
He also does mind game attacks through jumping back then poking outwards.
He then can do long range attack into an even longer range attack, making him even more unique.
This faggot-ass skeleton is literally artificial difficulty: the boss. Takes away your i-frames, attacks you in your menus in a TURN BASED GAME, just a real shithead. Only other ones are the 140 GQs, which are also artificial difficulty: the fight.

Not really doubting because while Souls bosses are designed for the player to avoid every attack Bloodbourne bosses are designed to "be aggressive" and pressure the player into healing as much as possible, and the obvious way they went about this is by giving them some cheap attacks.

Regular Monster Hunter is great, even G-Rank is fine. 140 GQs, the quests based around a mechanic that causes most of your hits to bounce no matter what if you don't use one very specific cooldown, along with giving the monster retard strength and speed? Nah, artificial difficulty as fuck. Apex is a shit mechanic.

They aren't really cheap, but promote staying withing their extremely close range, for me really goes against what I learned in games. I'd always dodge back from his yoyo, but then itbswings around at a longer range to catch a retreating dodge. Bb really forces you to relearn shit you learn from games in general. Regain also is real good since it grants hp faster than vials

Same. Frenzy was ok what with buffing the monster and adding a volatile status effect into the mix, but Apex was just making a monster invincible unless you managed to kick it's ass hard enough with Wystones active. And if you failed, all you could do was kite for the next few minutes.
